Read this before you bid
Everything here is measured off the roof plan on sheet A1 — the only sheet supplied. The elevation
sheets (A3/A4) were not in the PDF, so nothing here is cross-checked against a drawn elevation.
All slopes are 8:12 per the plan's pitch arrows, except the 2:12 front porch.
Overhang is 1'-0" all round; all areas are measured to the eave/rake line, not the wall.
One thing to verify on site: the plan's three interior ridge lines are drawn at positions that don't
close geometrically for a true 8:12 roof. The left block's ridge is dead-on; the center and right blocks'
ridges are drawn about 5–8 ft off where 8:12 puts them. This model uses true 8:12 geometry, so
eaves, rakes, gables, hips and valleys all match the plan exactly and the ridges land where they really
will. Total area is unaffected (area = plan area × slope factor).
